To provide an individual programme for adults with autism centered around the provision of an emotionally secure and structured pattern of life experiences and opportunities.

Somerset Court was founded in 1974 by the Ealing Autistic Trust as the first service specialising for people with autism in the UK.

The National Autistic Society took over the management in 1984 and today administers the facility.

Situated in rural Brent Knoll in Somerset, the site occupies 26 acres of land near the seaside town of Burnham-on-Sea.

Road and rail links are good with the M5 motorway and Weston-super-Mare mainline station.
